Explanation for rule #9
Explanation: You will be considered eliminated if a referee sees a glob of paint the size of a quarter or larger. Being hit in the gun is the same as being hit in the body. We know that balls can break on walls and tree branches in the vicinity and even though they do not hit you, they can leave little spread out areas of paint. If you are being splattered a lot, call a referee and ask him to take care of the splatter for you. We do this because, over time, splatter can collect to the point that it looks like one or several hits. Also, no 'dead man walking' or pretending to be dead until you pass an opposing player and then turning around and shooting them. When you are eliminated, plug your gun and put the hand you aren't using to hold the gun on your head, and walk off the field. If you put your hand on your head and hold your gun up in the air, this means that you are eliminated whether a ball has actually broken on you or not. The same is true with saying "I'm hit!"
