Explanation for rule #4

Explanation: Barrel socks go hand-in-hand with masks at Line Of Fire. 'Approved' barrel socks are those created for the sole purpose of being used as a paintmarker barrel blocking device (BBD). Rabbit's feet, rags, corks, fingers, squeegees and the like do NOT qualify as a BBD. Socks can be rented at LOF for a returnable $5 deposit. If you don't have a barrel sock upon arriving at LOF, please DO NOT enter the main building until you have first come in (while leaving your gun outside) and procured a barrel sock. Socks are required in ALL barrels before entering a 'safe' zone. It doesn't matter if the marker is empty or if an air source is/is not hooked up. By enforcing our safety rules, we can all avoid any 'accidental' misfires from injuring anyone's eyes. Remember, if you're not actively playing in a game....a sock shoud be on your barrel!
