Explanation for rule #2
Explanation: By wearing full face protection, the chance that a player will be hit in the eye is basically eliminated. When a player lifts his mask, for whatever reason, he exposes his eyes and increases the chance of injury. At Line of Fire, this is not tolerated . If a player is seen lifting his mask outside of the safe areas, even just a little bit, he will have a 'pink tag' (a piece of pink tape tied to his mask) and he will be required to sit out a game. If a referee catches a player with pink tape already on his mask lifting his mask outside of the safe areas, the player will be asked to turn in any rental equipment and will not be allowed to play for the rest of the day. No ifs, ands, or buts (or refunds)!
