06/19/10 - LOF celebrated FATHERS DAY a day early as we planned to spend tomorrow with our dads. There was a great turnout, which included a 3-generation group (above) from the Johnson family. John, Jeremiah and Chris came out to battle along side (and against) the other father/son teams.

LOF regulars, Greg and Talon Gromek, attended our FATHERS DAY celebration and got in a good day of play despite the afternoon showers. One of our games even came down to these 2 hunting each other down. By the way, dad (Greg) won that one!

Kendall Sciupider convinced his dad, David Sciupider, to come out and play with him. Dave got to shoot his son on several occasions throughout the day. Be careful what you wish for Kendall, you may just get it!

Sean Atkins and Landon Atkins came to our FATHERS DAY event and slung paint with the rest of us.

Jacob Deaver, Gage Deaver and Kolby Pressley all came out to celebrate Gage's 11th birthday a few days early.

The day's events started wrapping up with a FATHER vs SONS game which, this year, was a 'balloon ball' game. Everybody that was still around wanted in on the action, so there was a lot of 'adopting' going on right before this game. The 'fathers' (pictured above) wore white balloons.

The 'sons' team wore blue balloons (above). Can't say there was a true 'winning team' this year as the game fell to a common afternoon downpour of rain. Most players were actually taken out of the game by accidentally stepping on their own balloon.

It may have been FATHERS DAY, but we found several of the ladies that came out to play 'holding their own' in many of today's games.

Today's action even spilled into the 'woodsball' courses. Here several warriors use the 'Temple' to hold off attacking forces.

Don't think for a minute that the dads didn't stand a chance playing against their 'experienced' offspring. Many of our dads came up with new ways to out-smart the seasoned players. Above, Greg Gromek, lays in wait (inside the center tube on the 'airball' course) for his next target. Check out all the action from today by clicking here.
